The Lefty Hypocrites

All of sudden — after eight years of “F**k Bush” bumper stickers and “Kill Bush” assassination chic and Bush-or-Chimp parodies — the left is concerned about insulting the office of the Presidency?

Now, they are concerned with protecting the dignity of the office and with forging common ground and mutual respect?
And now the Lefty hypocrites who called Obama “The Magic Negro” and even wondered if he was “black enough”. But even more amazing is that NOW they want us to play “nice”, after all the vitriol they’ve thrown at Bush over the last eight years.

  1. I have to agree with you a bit here. I am no fan of Bush, but I was appalled at people calling for his assassination. I don't think we should EVER call for the assassination of our President, no matter who he is or how bad we perceive their policies to be. They are still the leader of our country, which is still the greatest and most free nation on earth.

I didn't start critizing Bush until towards the end of his presidency when I saw policies that I disagreed with. I didn't insult him personally, I just expressed disagreement and disappointment in his policies.

What I don't like is that people are trying to say the Obama is running this country into the ground, and he has been in office less than two months. Let's wait a bit, and see if his policies DO damage. If they do, then it's a free for all in terms of critism. I for one am holding off on major critism of the President's policies until I see them play out. That's not to say that I am not expressing disappointment in broken policies (no lobbyists) and disagreement (abortion) with current policies, but in terms of the economy, I'm gonna hold off a bit. What IF his policies work? Reagan's administration spent a ton of money domestically too to combat that which was done under Nixon. If it doesn't work, then in four years let's put someone better in office. That's what makes our country great. We don't have leaders-for-life. If we don't like how someone is running our country, we vote someone else in.

  2. The things they said about bush and condi rice were swept under the rug. I was not a bush fan, but there was no outrage. I can't wait to find some great anti obama bumperstickers and plaster them all over my gas guzzling Hummer and Mercedes just to piss the libtards off.

  3. I have been upset at this also. Bush made some bad decisions, but he kept this country safe for the past few years. Obama is NOT doing his part in protecting American citizens. He wants to close the Guantanamo prison for terrorists. 'Nuff said?

  5. Well the difference is that Bush lied about almost everything and was wrong on all counts and deserved criticism. Obama does not.

BTW, just because there was only one terror attack during the Bush Administration doesn't mean they protected us from a second attack. If you really want to be rational about it, the score is Bush 1 terror attack - --Obama zero! Buy hey, who wants to be rational??
