Is Obama Like Hitler?

On another blog, someone made a comment in the comment section saying
" not many have the guts to compare obama with Hitler "
I'd love the opportunity to explain why he IS!
I think that he IS and here's why..There are many similarities. He is similar to Hitler in that he has broad popular appeal, offers vague promises of change, and speaks very well and very often.
When Hitler was first elected he came out of the gate running and his country was all excited about the "Change" he promised.
Obama is a Socialist and most Socialist tend to opress the religious ideas and freedoms of religious groups. Wait until he grows our government so big that we are taxed 40% of our paycheck and wait until his administration controls everything that we say and do. The fact is that Hitler started out as a socialist. If you watch the speeches of Hitler you will see women and the young college students fainting and people standing in line to get Hitler’s autograph. Does this sound and look familiar?
Hitler came to power as a change from the awful economy. He promised to decrease the unemployment rate and restore Germany’s standing in the world. He was voted in democratically. Then he slowly began to take away constitutional rights of citizens-such as free speech, right to bear arms, freedom to worship….It was not until after, that he turned into the crazy Hitler that we all remember.
Its already happening. His ideas are ridiculous. He is going to bankrupt this nation and make us dependent on government. The next step is to try to shut us up. And by no means let's not forget his is his youth military movement .
The only important difference between Obama and Hitler is, Nazi-ism, Fascism, Communism, Socialism and Liberalism is the same except for the spelling. And he does't have that stupid looking mustache!
The man is an idiot, a fool, a sycophant and a charlatan. He denigrates the very fabric our our democracy with his audacity. The man is an embarrassment and a racist, certainly not qualified to hold the office of President.
And lastly, The question remains, why would a candidate for US President go to Berlin to speak?

And NOW For Taking On the "I Want Obama To Fail Comment By Rush Limbaugh!
I saw the Speech that Rush gave off the cuff. He only referred a few times to notes on points he wanted to raise. I did not find tone angry. He was upset with Republicans who had abandoned the Principles that allowed them to be elected in the first place. I think the reason that the Leftish MSM and all the other Lemmings who have adopted this failed theology is that it runs counter to their world view. It really reminds me of working with Delusional or other Mental and Psychologically damaged people. When you challenge their delusions with reality they become angry. I am not saying that there is any Mental Illness involved with those in the MSM but it is interesting to see the similar response.
This is the considered opinion of a "journalist" is it not!Pretty soon it'll be un-American. Then it'll be punishable.

Harry Reid called the President a Loser and said that our troops 'had lost in Iraq'. He also called the surge a failure BEFORE it even get started and again called the Iraq war 'lost'. Wasn't Harry rooting for America to fail?

Dick Durbin compared our troops to Nazis, Pol Pot, Soviets running gulags but he wasn't 'rooting for Bush to fail'. I'm sure he was cheering Bush on but just in his own special way.

Patty Murray called Osama Bin Laden a 'freedom fighter' and claimed that he was more popular in Afghanistan because he 'built schools, roads and hospitals'. Patty Murray claimed we were the ones killing Afghani people and not Al Qaeda.

Any time we question the Democrats about their opposition to Bush, we were accused of questioning their 'patriotism'. But anytime we question Obama, we are 'rooting for America to fail' or we are just racists. Rush could wish someone good afternoon and the MSM would report that he was bullying them to accept his view of the world

I too want this administrations policies to fail!

  1. That is almost the exact same thing I said to my children when I made this connection myself. The similarities are alarming. I've also compared him to Nicolae in the Left Behind series. Have you read those? I thought I might be insane until I started hearing and reading other people saying the same things. Why aren't more people scared?

  2. Interesting points! I keep telling my friends and family that we're living in a dangerous time and most people can't see it now, but life as we know it is being changed right before our eyes. I honestly hope that I'm wrong and we don't look back on these days one day and say this was when it all changed.

  3. Thanks for popping by my spot......... I put you on board my blog roll and following yours.

    Great post...

Indeed we are in scary times, and much scarier ahead, I fear there will be another "Alamo" in the making shortly with all those troops moving close to our Arizona and Texas borders. I hope our people are ready for the spill over that is could happen.

    Be safe out there

  7. You all, in your insanity, are comparing President Obama with a man who committed genocide on 6 million people, invaded countries (Wait. didn't Bush do that?)and started a world war.

That may make you feel all warm and cuddly inside, but it is a symptom of how radical and crazy the extreme right has become.

You are a minority, and this disgusting, libelous, and calumnious post will certainly keep you one.

I'm going to do a post on this post to illustrate how far the Republican Party has fallen into the abyss.

I'm sorry for you all. Truly.

  8. Hey Shaw Kenawe, did you say that when they compared George Bush to Hitler?

    Hummmmmmmmmmmmm?

  9. Shaw clearly has some difficulties with reading comprehension. This post lists out and explains the areas where there are comparisons between the two, whether he likes it or not - the broad popular appeal, the vague promises of change, the socialist tendencies, etc. Nobody said anything about this all leading to genocide, and if he's reading that into the comments here, then he really is the deranged radical.

  10. NF Woman,

By your logic, we can compare Ronald Reagan to Hilter. He promised smaller government and no tax increases (change), he had broad popular appeal, he was a great communicator and speech giver, and the country was excited about his presidency.

ACCORDING TO Chris and NJ Woman's logic, Ronald Reagan was a lot like Hitler.

Chris wrote: "Obama is a Socialist and most Socialist tend to opress the religious ideas and freedoms of religious groups"

Give us evidence of Obama's "tendency" to oppress religious groups. He has kept in place Mr. Bush's faith-based programs. Is that the tendency to oppress religions that you mean? He invited Rick Warren and many other religious leaders (too many in my opinion) to give blessings on his inauguration. Is that the "tendency" to oppress that "socialists" have that you mean?

Chris wrote: "Its already happening. His ideas are ridiculous. He is going to bankrupt this nation and make us dependent on government. The next step is to try to shut us up. And by no means let's not forget his is his youth military movement ."

You say "it's already happening" then you go on to list what has in fact NOT HAPPENED. You list what YOU THINK will happen. Your fears are not reality, as much as you believe so. It's called projection, and you suffer greatly from it, my friend.

Chris wrote: "The only important difference between Obama and Hitler is, Nazi-ism, Fascism, Communism, Socialism and Liberalism is the same except for the spelling."

Yeah, Chris. The only important DIFFERENCE is something that is the SAME except for the spelling? Whew! Did it take you all day to think of that?

Chris wrote: "And lastly, The question remains, why would a candidate for US President go to Berlin to speak?"

"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" --spoken by Ronald Reagan in Berlin, Germany.

Maybe Mr. Obama was trying to get some of Ronald Reagan's Hitler-like charisma to rub off on him...who knows.

  13. Nazism was a form of extreme right wing politics, not socialism. It had socialism in the name, but even a cursory common search in Wikipedia lists their views as RIGHT WING. Not Left and Liberal, but extremely conservative. Check it out.

  15. Chris,

Just because you've found some Liberals who compared Bush to Hitler doesn't mean that ALL Liberals compared Bush to Hitler.

Let me illustrate for you so you don't make this specious claim again:

Timothy McVeigh was a registered Republican and a member of the NRA.

That doesn't mean that all Republicans and members of the NRA are domestic terrorists--(although it IS curious that McVeigh was attracted to both those groups.)

I didn't have to look too far, just put that sentence into google and you'll find thousands of them.

PS the Timothy McVeigh thing is ridicules, you're nitpicking

  18. Heaven help us if this administration does NOT fail. There isn't much Obama has said that makes me feel at ease. And when I received the email from my employer this week telling me that they were implementing Obama's AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009, I just about screamed. I don't want your $13 a week Mr. BO... and I don't want you to tax that stupid $13 a week either. Leave me alone.

I had a post about Obama and Hitler... he truly is trying to lead us down that road, isn't he.

  23. Hey jameswolfer, what is your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid? Just wondering seeing you must drink it often.

Obama Admin, is much like that of FDR,who admired both Hitler, until he attack Poland and England, and Uncle Joe(Stalin) communism. I believe he said about Stalin, "...one must be a friend to have a friend...",this to a guy who at that time had already kill, purge,or dispatched 40 million people in many different countries.

  26. It is generally accepted, as noted here, for
    example that:
"After the war Hitler was stationed in Munich, the capital of Bavaria. While Hitler was in Munich, the capital of Bavaria, Kurt Eisner, leader of the Independent Socialist Party, declared Bavaria a Socialist Republic. Hitler was appalled by the revolution. As a German Nationalist he disagreed with the socialist belief in equality.

Hitler saw socialism as part of a Jewish conspiracy. Many of the socialist leaders in Germany, including Kurt Eisner, Rosa Luxemburg, Ernst Toller and Eugen Levine were Jews. So also were many of the leaders of the October Revolution in Russia. This included Leon Trotsky, Gregory Zinoviev, Lev Kamenev, Dimitri Bogrov, Karl Radek, Yakov Sverdlov, Maxim Litvinov, Adolf Joffe, and Moisei Uritsky. It had not escaped Hitler's notice that Karl Marx, the prophet of socialism, had also been a Jew.

It was no coincidence that Jews had joined socialist and communist parties in Europe. Jews had been persecuted for centuries and therefore were attracted to a movement that proclaimed that all men and women deserved to be treated as equals. This message was reinforced when on 10th July, 1918, the Bolshevik government in Russia passed a law that abolished all discrimination between Jews and non-Jews" ..Hitler was in no way a socialist. Comparing him to ANY US president is just..well...silly.

  27. Hey Conservative Scalawag,
Who's your editor? You should fire them because they made your post look like a fourth grader wrote it. Disjointed sentences with too many commas and no refutation whatsoever of my arguments. "What's your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid?" Oh, I get it, you're referencing the Jones Town mass suicide. Nice one. Any other jokes you want to use at the height of their popularity?

Moving on to the intelligent bloggers who can actually carry on a conversation. My points were: Hitler was not a socialist. He was a militant right-winger who used the Jews as a scapegoat for their economic crash. I don't see Obama doing that. The premise of this entire post is ridiculous is that Hitler=Obama because they were both good speakers and wildly popular. You know who else was a good speaker and wildly popular? Ronald Reagan. He was an actor, popular at the beginning of his presidency, and a good speaker.

I guess he was Hitler too.

  28. Okay, okay...only a few things to say here.

First, equating Obama-the-candidate's self-inflated, narcissistic, "I'm a citizen of the world" speech at Berlin with Ronald Reagan AS PRESIDENT FIGHTING THE COLD WAR speech in Berlin is just dumb; you know apples-to-oranges kind of silly. But nice try...

Also, as for the Hitler thing...I won't argue all the particulars, but back in the fall when I saw video of American school children singing their "Obama Ballad," two very frightening words crawled into my consciousness: "Hitler Youth."

Yikes. If you don't see it, you're incapable of sensing any kind of nuance. Or maybe you're happy to live in Obamaland, where all is for the greater good...

  29. Susannah:
I was referencing Reagan to show the ridiculousness of this Hitler post. I said nothing about this speech or that speech (and neither did MyBlog). He has a simple premise: Obama is like Hitler because he's a good speaker and people love him. I was just pointing out that Reagan also spoke well and people loved him since he was a celebrity before his presidency.

As for the Youth thing, yeah I'm a little nervous there too. I get nervous with anyone who is militantly supporting someone and won't see critism. I was (and still am) of those who are so Republican that they want to force their party back in power at gunpoint the same as I am afraid of those that want to do the same when the Repubs have power and the Dems oppose everything vehemetly.
